William Back was the partner of William Morgan when they together formed the accountancy partnership of Morgan Back and Co in 1935.
The following letter has survived dated 4 Feb 1947 addressed to his partner, who was dying in a Paddington hospital. Donald Morgan, William Morgan’s son had just returned from India and was working in the office, although technically still on leave from his army duties, awaiting final demobilisation.
The letter mentions ‘Links’ as a client, who it is assumed is Joe Links.
