Daisy Downing was born in 11 May 1880 at 10.10am together with her older twin sister May, who was born at 9.50am. They were the two eldest children of William Edmund Downing and his wife Hannah Pitt Downing.
She married Willie Grazebrook, a solicitor, on 4 Jun 1903. The newspaper account from the Worcestershire and Staffordshire County Express of the wedding in Hagley has survived.

The Grazebrooks were a prominent Stourbridge and Hagley family, the main family at one time living at Stourton Castle. They had two children Nancy Merrial Grazebrook and Jack Worral Grazebrook, shown in the photo.
Nancy was born on 5 Feb 1905 and married Tommy Webb in 1932. Jack Grazebrook was born on 27 Aug 1906 and married Audrey Watson in 1936. Like his father he was a solicitor.
The Grazebrooks turn up in a number of photos at fetes and weddings around Hagley 1895-1925. Where identified these will appear in the list of photos elsewhere on this site.
Daisy Grazebrook died on 24 Sep 1958.
